Evette brings entrepreneurial and corporate experience to Leadership Nashville as the founder/CEO of an integrated marketing agency and chief strategy officer for Ascension Saint Thomas Health. After 33 years, she sold the agency, and then served as CEO of Executive Selection before being named Executive Director of Leadership Nashville.
Evette is a corporate director of Delta Dental of Tennessee, Founders’ Advisory Board member for Studio Bank, chair of the TransPerfect Music City Bowl and was a member of the Business Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Past president of the Rotary Club of Nashville, Entrepreneurs Organization, the American Advertising Federation and the Nashville Sports Council, she also chaired the boards of Cable, Family & Children’s Services and was appointed to the inaugural Tennessee Tourism Committee by Governor Bill Haslam. Honors include: Business Leaders Top 50 Entrepreneur, NBJ’s Executive of the Year, Nashville Medical News InCharge Healthcare, and alumna of Leadership Nashville (’01) and Leadership Tennessee (Class III). She and her husband Tim have three grown children and two grandchildren.

A highly motivated and driven professional with a comprehensive background in nonprofit development, project management, marketing, and corporate event planning, Liz brings mission oriented nonprofit operations and system management expertise to Leadership Nashville. Known as an innovative thinker with grant writing, copy editing, internal communications, and relationship-building experience, she is exceedingly organized and a creative problem solver who thrives on managing projects, identifying goals, and developing processes for operational efficiency and execution. Previously the Foundation Relations and Events Manager at the Nashville Ballet, she has also served as the Assistant Director of Development for the YWCA of Central Alabama.
Liz has a BA in Art History with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Alabama. She also has a Master of Arts Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alabama, Birmingham (UAB). Liz is a member of the Nashville Advocacy Committee for CCK and a Kindling Arts Festival board member. She and her husband Drew enjoy long walks with their rescue dog, Bodie.
